Roomie, Housie, Flatie
In Australia, flatmates (or roommates if you American) are housemates. So flaties become housies. Last night we had a housies Christmas dinner and secret Santa. (It seems that secret Santa is called Kris Kringle in Australia.) Anyway, lots of food and fun all round. And sing-along carols in a key of one's own choosing.

Who's Idea was it to get someone a cat for their secret santa? It looks pretty grumpy about the whole situation too.
ReplyDeleteIt was in a pretty bad mood last night. I probably shouldn't have wrapped it up so tight. I was pleased that no one guessed in advance what the odd shaped present was though.
